IUPUI School of Informatics and Computer Science –In hands-on, high-energy, one-week summer workshops, high school students learn how informatics and computing is shaping our world through innovations in mobile and web applications, interactive media and digital games, and health and medical research
 
* – iD Tech Camps held at Butler & Purdue
Ages 7-17  Beginner – Advance  1 week 
Learn to code, design video games, mod Minecraft, create with Roblox, engineer robots, print 3D characters, work with AI, learn about cybersecurity, and more! Weeklong summer programs held at Butler and Purdue.
 
* – Purdue University Cybersecurity Camp
The Purdue University Cybersecurity Camp is the only residential FREE GenCyber student program in the state of Indiana and the surrounding Midwestern states created for girls entering 9th – 12th grades.
 
1- Camp DASH at Purdue university 
Camp DASH is a fun and engaging summer camp for boys and girls ages 11-15 right here on Purdue’s campus. Camp runs from June 10-July 5 and July 11-August 5, 2017.
 
2-Accounting Career Awareness Program in Summer

Accounting Career Awareness Program (ACAP). This program, led by the National Association of Black Accountants, targets minority Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors for an opportunity to learn about career pathways in finance and accounting. Every summer, qualified high school applicants spend one week at the University of Indianapolis in an intensive case competition while learning professional development, etiquette, and gaining mentorship from current accountants and financial consultants. The deadline for students to apply to this summer’s ACAP program is Saturday, April 29, 2017.

3-Minority Engineering Program at Purdue
6th, 7th, 8th Grade Summer Engineering Workshops  (June 11-16)
MEP Summer Engineering Workshops were designed to invite 6-8th grade students to Purdue University for a full week of discovery, engagement, and learning about college and careers in engineering
 
 
4-Minority Engineering Program at Purdue
9th and 10th Grade PREFACE Program (June 19-23)
 
PREFACE is a residential summer workshop for students who are headed into their sophomore or junior year of high school. During this program, participants will live on Purdue University’s campus and learn more about the opportunities available at Purdue. Students will discover more about the wide variety of engineering careers and examine career choices as they relate to their own values, abilities, and goals. Students will meet and work with students from around the country and will work to design solutions to some of the world’s most pertinent challenges, highlighting engineering majors at Purdue. More importantly participants will leave with new academic skills to help you excel in your classes and on SAT/ACT standardized tests. We have seen an average improvement in SAT math scores of 90-100 points.
 
 
 
5-Minority Engineering Program at Purdue
11th Grade MITE Academic Boot Camp  (July 2 – August 5)
The Multiethnic Introduction to Engineering (MITE) program was initiated at Purdue University in the summer of 1975. Originally a two-week program, MITE is now a five-week college simulation program modeled after the Freshman Engineering Academic Boot Camp. MITE attendees are immersed in first year engineering projects. The agenda includes SAT review, engineering design, time management, and social acclimatization to college life. Student participants build a strong sense of community and are able to return to their high schools with a better evaluation of their potential. We have seen an average improvement in SAT math scores of 90 points. The highest increase was 180 points as measured through pre- and post-testing. All participants apply to Purdue at the close of the program.
 
 
6- Adventures in Computer Science Summer Camp  at Purdue
Grade 6-11  (June 11-16)
Purdue University is offering both middle school and high school summer camps in 2017. The camps will focus on introducing students to computational thinking and programming using computer security as a central theme. Students will explore ideas in cryptography, networks, and data security by using a variety of tools including Linux, Python, Scratch, Raspberry Pi and others. We welcome students from all areas and all levels of experience! Please make us part of your summer plans!

15 – AgDiscovery 2017 Summer Experience at Purdue (July 9-23)
New to the AgDiscovery program in 2017 is a joint partnership between Purdue’s College of Agriculture (CoA) and Purdue Veterinary Medicine (PVM). These two colleges bring together a new and exciting learning opportunity for students. This 2-week experience will immerse participants in various fields of study through a series of hands-on labs, workshops, and field trips. These are designed to give real-life experiences within animal, plant, veterinary, and environmental science; agribusiness and related disciplines; and the various aspects of Indiana agriculture and veterinary health care. Participants will complete and deliver research projects and presentations as one of the program requirements. They will also acquire information and tools to become competitive college applicants, specifically within the Purdue CoA and PVM admissions framework
